Forgiving

Forgiving

No matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can take it out and make you as clean as freshly fallen snow.

Isaiah 1:18, TLB

[You] were once far away from God. . . . Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ. . . . As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.

Colossians 1:21-22

God promises that when we ask, he forgives all our sins and never thinks of them again.

Feelings of shame, self-condemnation, and disgrace have no place in those who have accepted God’s forgiveness.

Ask yourself, Do I believe that God can forgive even my worst sins? When have I experienced God’s forgiveness? How might today look different if I fully accept God’s forgiveness?
