Faithful

The Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.

Deuteronomy 7:9

God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

Hebrews 6:18

God cannot lie and therefore cannot break his promises. This means you never have to worry that God will change his mind about loving you unconditionally.

Knowing this truth, ask yourself, Do I believe God is faithful to keep his promises? When have I experienced or witnessed God’s faithfulness? How might today look different if I were confident in God’s promises to be faithful to me?
