Filing Your Complaints

Filing Your Complaints

Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

Philippians 2:14-15

Be mindful of when you are tempted to complain today. If you catch yourself complaining, text the letter C to yourself or tally your complaints on a piece of paper.

At the end of the day, count how many times you have texted or written that letter. Ask for God’s forgiveness and thank him that you are beginning to practice controlling your tongue.

Make a commitment that tomorrow, each time you want to complain, you will say something to express thankfulness in that situation, and remind yourself how words make a real difference in your attitude and relationships.
