Expect Great Things

I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. . . . How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you.

Psalm 31:14-15, 19

Read the verses again with your own future in mind.

Remind yourself not simply to desire good things for your future, but to expect great things for your future—because that’s what God has promised you.

As you end this week of practicing “hope in God,” thank him for having your future in his hands and for the great things he has in store for you.
