Cherish the “Lasts”
Cherish the “Lasts”
Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom.
Psalm 90:12
Think about the “lasts” that could happen today.
What if today were the last day of winter?
Or summer?
What if today were the last time your child crawled up on your lap to snuggle?
What if today were the last time you heard the voice of someone you love?
How does this change your perspective on life?
On today?
Make a list of three or four potential “lasts” that might happen to you soon.
How does this make you want to slow down and cherish the things you just wrote about before they end?
