Celebrate Routine Accomplishments
Celebrate Routine Accomplishments
The master said, “Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!”
Matthew 25:23
Celebration gives you the opportunity to savor the joy of work, creates a spirit of gratitude, and renews your energy for the work still to be done.
To open your heart to the practice of celebration, think of one thing that you routinely accomplish every day but have never thought to celebrate—putting a good meal on the table, going to work every day, paying your bills, or tucking the kids into bed.
Celebrate one of these daily accomplishments by doing something you enjoy.
For example, go out with your spouse or a friend for dinner or maybe just relax by the fire with a good book.
