A Walk with God

When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”

Genesis 3:8-10

Adam and Eve recognized the sound of God walking in the garden. Perhaps the evening was their special time to walk and talk together.

Schedule a time to take a walk alone with the Lord today—even if the walk is only five minutes.

Picture him being beside you.

Resist the urge to fill the time with any sounds or words, and just enjoy being in God’s company.
