A Restful Friend

Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat. So they left by boat for a quiet place, where they could be alone.

Mark 6:31-32

Is there anyone you know who has the ability to help you slow down and rest?

If so, call or text them today to schedule a time to do something restful and restorative this week.

For example, you could take a walk, play cards, or go out to dinner together.

If you don’t know such a person, ask God to send this kind of friend into your life.
