God’s Call

God’s Call

My Question for God

How do I know what my calling is?

A Moment with God

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

Psalm 119:105

The first step in knowing your calling is to get to know God more closely by reading his Word. As God communicates with you through the Bible, he will show you what to do and where he wants you to go.

God gave [Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego] an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom.

Daniel 1:17

God has given each person certain aptitudes and abilities. These provide the biggest clue to what God wants you to do. When he calls you to do something for him, he will almost always allow you to use your God-given gifts to get the job done. In the meantime, develop those special abilities, and begin to use them, and you will begin to see what God wants you to do.

When God gives you a specific calling, it fills your thoughts and energies so that you have a longing to pursue it wholeheartedly.

Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you.

Romans 12:2

When God transforms you by the power of his Holy Spirit, he will literally begin to change the way you think so that your mind will recognize what he wants you to do.
