My Question for God

Can God use me, even when I doubt myself?

A Moment with God

Moses pleaded with the LORD, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” Then the LORD asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.” But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else.”

Exodus 4:10-13

Moses was certain he could not do what God was asking of him. The task was too big, and Moses was scared, unprepared, and full of doubt. But in some ways this was Moses’ greatest asset. God works through humble hearts that depend on him. Moses had a realistic picture of his abilities. He knew he couldn’t do the job by his own power or skill, so he had two choices: walk away, or let God work through him. Fortunately, he chose wisely. When the task ahead of you seems too big, when you doubt your ability to see it through but know God wants you to do it, that is the time to trust him to work through you.

Divine Promise

Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.
