Busyness
Busyness
My Question for God
How can I overcome empty busyness?
A Moment with God
All our busy rushing ends in nothing.
Psalm 39:6
Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.
Ecclesiastes 11:6
Be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. . . . Be filled with the Holy Spirit
Ephesians 5:15-18
Rich harvests cannot come from idle hands. Getting a job done requires work. Busyness becomes dangerous only if your activities replace real accomplishment or if you are neglecting God or the people in your care. The key to overcoming empty busyness is to be fully productive for God. You do this by understanding his call and purpose for your life and prioritizing your activities around them. God empowers you to make the most of the time he’s given you.
