Beauty

My Question for God

How can I reflect the beauty of God?

A Moment with God

People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7

God has made everything beautiful for its own time.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

Women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.

1 Timothy 2:10

Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

1 Peter 3:3-4

Things are loveliest and best when they are blooming in the right season. Life has many seasons, and every season can be the prime of life if you represent the season in which you are now living. The mature beauty of an older woman is quite different from that of a twenty-year-old with an attractive appearance. The beauty of an infant is different from the emerging beauty of an adolescent. Each has its seasonal beauty. The beauty of grace, sweetness, and charm transcends all of the seasons of life, although it may mature as one grows older. During all seasons, those who follow God reflect the beauty of his holiness, love, and wisdom. Combine all of these and behold beauty in symphony.

Divine Promise

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.

Psalm 1:1-3
