MY QUESTION for GOD

What kind of attitude does God want when I communicate with him?

A MOMENT with GOD

O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

Psalm 62:8

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

Colossians 4:2

Never stop praying.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

[Jesus prayed,] “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

Luke 22:42

[The angel] said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.”

Daniel 10:12

The Bible teaches that God honors and acknowledges the prayers of the humble. Humility comes when you recognize that you need God. Before you ask with boldness, fall to your knees in humility. When you humbly come to God, it shows that you recognize his sovereignty. Then your prayers will be better aligned with his plans for you. Following God’s will for your life will lead you toward what is good and right and away from sin and harm.

DIVINE PROMISE

Humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. 1 Peter 5:6
