As a Christian, how can I have the greatest impact on my community?

You must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.

1 Peter 3:15-16

God’s influence in the lives of Christians often attracts others. The more you reflect God’s perfect character traits, the more people will be drawn to you and want to be around you. Although we all make plenty of mistakes, your goal should be to live in a way that people around you say, “We can plainly see that God is with you.” Would people in your community be able to say that about you? When they do, it’s a divine moment for them and for you.

DIVINE PROMISE

You are the light of the world. . . . No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Matthew 5:14-16
