MY QUESTION for GOD

What am I supposed to be hoping for?

A MOMENT with GOD

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while.

1 Peter 1:3-6

“I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

For a prisoner on death row, a pardon offers hope of freedom. We were once spiritual prisoners facing eternal death because of our sin, but God gave us ultimate hope by forgiving our sins so we can be with him forever in heaven. When life seems impossible, God gives eternal hope. Hope is essential for persevering through the tough times. Without hope, we would give up. Just as focusing on a fixed point in the distance helps you move in a straighter line, Jesus’ followers should fix their eyes on the eternal horizon. Heaven is where you will live with God forever, with no pain or sorrow or suffering. As you move straight toward your goal, the hope you have for eternity will help you endure the discomforts and trials of daily life.
