MY QUESTION for GOD

What does it mean to be holy and to live a holy life?

A MOMENT with GOD

I am writing . . . to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.

1 Corinthians 1:2

You were cleansed; you were made holy.

1 Corinthians 6:11

I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable.

Romans 12:1

Think of holiness as both a journey and a final destination. To be completely holy is to be sinless, pure, and perfect before God. Of course, no one is perfect, but that is our ultimate goal. We will reach that final destination when we stand before God in heaven. But holiness also means to be different, to be set apart by God for a specific purpose. We are to be different from the rest of the world. Our lives are to be a journey toward holiness so that we become a little more pure and sinless with each passing day. If you strive to be holy on your earthly journey, you will one day arrive at your final destination and stand holy before God.

DIVINE PROMISE

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

Ephesians 1:4
