MY QUESTION for GOD

Do my “little” sins matter as long as I am accomplishing good things overall?

As leaders, it’s sometimes tempting to overlook the “little” sins in yourself and others to keep the peace or advance the cause. It might be a telling a little white lie that helps seal the deal, leaving out some key negative facts at a presentation, looking the other way when an employee exaggerates the data, or using foul language that is inappropriate for a Christian. Sometimes you do something wrong and do not even realize it until later. Your business might accidentally break a city ordinance, or the IRS might call you on a tax loophole you innocently claimed. In the laws of government, ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law. So it is with God’s law. To God, sin is sin, whether it is small or even unintentional. All sin has consequences, but small, intentional sins can eat away at your integrity until eventually your conscience becomes desensitized and no longer recognizes what you are doing as sin. To recognize all sin as sin is a divine moment that will keep you on the path of integrity and help you stay close to God. You need to regularly check up on yourself so that sins do not go unchecked and their consequences become disastrous.
