How can I make peace with others?

God blesses those who work for peace.

Matthew 5:9

Work for . . . peace and prosperity.

Jeremiah 29:7

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.

Isaiah 43:2

Peace is not the absence of conflict; it is the confident assurance in the middle of conflict. Peace comes from dealing with conflict appropriately. God calls us to pursue peace, which sometimes involves hard work. God then blesses us when we bring his peace to others.

Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.

2 Corinthians 13:11

Work hard at getting rid of sin in your own life and diligently building others up to help achieve peace.

Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

Ephesians 4:3

Work toward the kind of unity with others that comes only from the Holy Spirit.

The wisdom from above is . . . peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.

James 3:17

Commit yourself to the gentle deeds that are the mark of a true peacemaker.

Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.

Psalm 37:37

Never pay back evil with more evil. . . . Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.
