Peace is not the absence of conflict; it is the confident assurance in the middle of conflict. Peace comes from dealing with conflict appropriately. God calls us to pursue peace, which sometimes involves hard work. God then blesses us when we bring his peace to others.
Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.

Work hard at getting rid of sin in your own life and diligently building others up to help achieve peace.
