Patience

Patience

MY QUESTION for GOD

How can I be more patient?

A MOMENT with GOD

May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.

Romans 15:5

Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.

Ephesians 4:2

We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.

Colossians 1:11

Patience and perspective go hand in hand. When you are always focused on your own agenda and priorities, you will often find yourself impatient because life will rarely go the way you want it to. This is especially true for leaders, who are constantly dealing with unexpected events and interruptions. When you take the broader perspective that life is a winding journey and not a straight line between two points, you realize that what you do along the way is often as important as getting to your destination. This gives you patience when things aren’t going the way you’d like and helps you welcome opportunities to serve others on the detours of daily life. What you see as life’s detours may be God’s chosen path for you.
