How can I inspire the people I lead?

A MOMENT with GOD

Perhaps you will think to yourselves, “How can we ever conquer these nations that are so much more powerful than we are?” But don’t be afraid of them! Just remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and to all the land of Egypt.

Deuteronomy 7:17-18

If you obey, you will enjoy a long life in the land the Lord swore to give to your ancestors and to you, their descendants—a land flowing with milk and honey!

Deuteronomy 11:9

You can inspire others by reminding them of God’s past blessings, by presenting them with a positive vision of the future, and by speaking and acting in ways that show your complete confidence in the Lord’s hand upon you and those you lead. By remembering how God has helped you in the past, you can help others get excited about the blessings awaiting them in the future. This sounds like simple advice, but often profound inspiration is achieved through the most basic measures.

REMEMBER YOUR LEADERS WHO TAUGHT YOU THE WORD OF GOD. THINK OF ALL THE GOOD THAT HAS COME FROM THEIR LIVES, AND FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF THEIR FAITH.
