You yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.

Your values influence your choices, and your choices influence your behavior. Your behavior reveals your heart, or what is most important to you. When you claim to be a follower of God, make sure that others can see that you are truly following him. Then many others will want to follow God as well because they like what they see in you. Ask a few of your closest friends or coworkers what kind of influence you have had lately on those around you.
