Balance
Balance
MY QUESTION for GOD
With all my responsibilities at work and at home, how do I achieve balance?
A MOMENT with GOD
I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should.
1 Corinthians 9:26-27
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
[Jesus said,] “I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began.”
John 17:4-5
Living a balanced life means honoring God, others, and yourself through the ways you use your gifts and spend your time and resources. Your life can get out of balance when you focus on one of your responsibilities at the cost of others. God assures you that there is a time for everything, including everything he calls you to do. Look to the example of Jesus; despite his infinite potential and all the needs around him, he left much undone yet completed all that God had given him to do. You will find true peace and contentment when you realize you don’t have to do everything, just those things God created you to do. Begin each day in prayer, asking God to show you what he wants you to get done. When you coordinate your agenda with his, your priorities will become clear, and you will find balance in your life.
