And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

—John 14:13

THE ROYAL WAY IN WHICH we partake in Christ’s sufferings is in intercession for others.

Do you know what God will do when you begin to take a soul before Him? He will put the condition of that soul on you until you go through all that person experiences, so to speak. And new converts will abide if you will present them steadfastly day and night, in the blood of your soul and the passion of your prayer, straight before God.

Though the Garden be before me,

And the scornful Judgment Hall,

Though the gloom of deepest midnight,

Settle round me like a pall;

Though the cross my path o’ershadows,

Thou didst bear it once for me,

And whate’er the pain or peril,

“Jesus, I’ll go through with Thee.”

Jesus Christ interceded for us. To be like

Him, we must be intercessors.

Prayer Thought: Give me a burden for the souls of mankind.
