At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

JESUS CHRIST IS NOT INTERESTED in simply hearing us testify that we are pure in heart, or full of love for God and our fellow man. He wants us to prove it in our attitudes and actions. He looks at our minds, not at the mannerisms of our speech. We may say wonderfully truthful things, but what we think is the thing that counts with Him. Our Lord makes us real, not just sincere. Are you truly honest with God—enough to allow Him to rule in your heart, mind, and life? That is the way to full victory in Christ.

Prayer Thought: O God, create in me the right attitudes, pleasing to You and helpful to others.
