But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

MANY FOLKS HAVE ONLY THEIR emotions stirred when they hear the Word of God. You may have your emotions stirred every day of every year, and yet be the same old crooked, twisted, bent man or woman. You may have the affections of your heart stirred every day, and yet be good for nothing.

If you imagine that the world is going to be saved in this generation, you are mistaken. If we were to take literally the parable of the sower, we would realize that only one fourth of those to whom the Word is preached will prove to be good ground. And this one fourth He is using in the uttermost parts of the earth. Some are being sown in the foreign fields, some in the home fields.

Prayer Thought: I praise You, Lord, for the inner transformation of my heart and life!
