Deeper Life #150

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

—Ephesians 3:19

A SAINT IS NOT A PERSON “with” a saintly character. A saint is a saintly character. Character, not ecstatic moods, is the essence of saintliness.

By the same token, you cannot have a change of “the will” and be the same person two minutes later. If your will is committed to the Lord Jesus Christ, all is changed.

I feel confident that God is preparing you for that divine stamp of the character of the Lord Jesus Christ. God wants to bring you to the place of being a true servant of His.

Prayer Thought: Heavenly Father, I resolve to allow You to reign supremely in my life.
