For Financial Provision

For Financial Provision

IN THE BOOK OF MALACHI, God unveiled the secret to obtaining financial security. What’s more, he backed this revelation with a daring promise: “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do . . . I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” (3:10).

God dares us to test him with our financial tithe—but tithing requires faith that may come only through prayer. It takes faith to give 10 percent of all your income—come rain or shine. And it takes faith to bring the tithe to God’s temple—the actual church where you’re spiritually fed.

So answer God’s dare, and trust him with your tithe. The Lord avows that “your crops will be abundant. . . . Then all nations will call you blessed” (Malachi 3:11-12).

STRENGTH IN THE WORD

One-tenth . . . belongs to the LORD.

Leviticus 27:30

TODAY I DECLARE

I can give anywhere, but my tithe belongs to God’s church.

PRAYERFUL THOUGHTS

Dear Lord,

Surely, you must know that money is tight, and it’s hard to trust the modern-day church. But I’m placing my faith in you, O Lord; not in people nor my scarcity.

Please release the dividends of your biblical promise as I trust you with my financial tithe. Pour out a blessing so great that I won’t have enough room to take it all in.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
