It’s Never Too Late

Breathe Deep and Know: It is never too late to start walking in truth.

Have you ever had a pit in your stomach when you know the choices you’ve made or the path you’re on isn’t aligned with God? Sometimes we can work ourselves into a whole mess of worry and anxiety when we know we’ve made a mistake, sinned in some way, or made poor choices that landed us on a path that we know isn’t where God wants us to be.

This kind of anxiety can actually serve a good purpose because it’s rooted in conviction that can spur us to turn back to God. If we let it, this kind of anxiety can be a flashing yellow light in our lives, signaling us to slow down and pay attention, perhaps even to turn and go in a different direction.

Is the path you’re on right now leading you closer to Christ? Or have you taken a turn somewhere along the way that has you off track? Ask God to teach you His ways so you can walk in the direction of His truth today.

Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.
