God Rescues You

Breathe Deep and Know: God already knows where you are today and how you got there. He sees your suffering and He knows exactly what you need.

In the garden, after Adam and Eve sinned, they hid from God out of fear and shame, and God asked them, “Where are you?” God didn’t ask this because He didn’t already know where they were or what they had done. He didn’t ask for his own sake but for theirs. And He asks that same question of us even now.

Where are you? How are you, really?

Have you paid attention lately to your physical and spiritual reality? How is your body feeling? Are any symptoms telling you to slow down and pay attention? How is your soul and your relationship with God? Do you need to confess anything? Is anything causing dysregulation in your body or your soul?

Where are you today?

God already knows. And He knows how to help you, how to rescue you. Do you trust Him enough to come out of hiding and let Him care for you? Unload your burdens to Him today, and let Him cover you with His love.

Look upon my suffering and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your instructions.
