Beautiful Word Devotional #146

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Jeremiah 33:3

What would you put on a list of “unsearchable things”? That list could get long because, frankly, there is a lot we don’t know. We cannot fathom the mind of God.

After all, God knows all these things on our lists of unsearchable things. He knows all things—period. And he invites us to ask him questions when we want to know something.

If you’re confounded today, rest in the promise of this verse. God wants to equip you with wisdom and understanding. He longs to help you navigate the relational hardship you’re walking through. He wants to give you wisdom as you pursue a new job. He wants to show you how to worship him in a way that brings him glory and you, profound joy.

The almighty creator God, the author and sustainer of life, is available to you. Spend some time today seeking him. Ask him for wisdom and insight. That is a prayer he loves to answer.

Lord, there’s so much I don’t yet know. I’m thankful I can go to you for wisdom and knowledge when I need them, amen.
