A Brand-New You
Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
Life is a series of beginnings, and how you enter into them makes all the difference. Although the thought of new beginnings can sometimes make you feel anxious, remember that you experience them all the time. Each day brings a whole series of new opportunities, including chances to get to know God better and to start over with a new attitude toward circumstances and people in your life. God’s mercy toward you is new every day, no matter what you’ve done or how you’ve treated him or other people the day before. That means you don’t have to be burdened by yesterday’s failures or regrets.
Bathe Yourself in Love
Choose one way that you can take better care of your body today. Replace junk food with a healthier option, take the stairs, or get to bed earlier. Take a few moments to prayerfully consider how God might be leading you to better care for the body he has given you.
