Insurmountable
Insurmountable
While doing the Insanity Max:30 Sweat Intervals workout, I found myself facedown in a plank position, being instructed to hop one leg out as if I were skiing downhill, while bending one knee in tight to the chest and extending it out toward the other leg. That move is called “ski abs/power knee.” Just explaining the move is a challenge. These kinds of moves create a lot of soreness in my body. The pace and intensity is, as they call the program, “Insane.” Doing that move made me want to quit. But when I stick with the workout, it changes my life.
Another thing that changed my life was spending time with Nick Vujicic when I had the privilege of interviewing him for my radio show. Nick leads a ministry called Life without Limbs.a Although Nick was born without arms or legs, he has traveled over three million miles and visited fifty-seven different countries ministering to people and sharing the love of Jesus Christ. The few hours I had with him will never be forgotten. Nick has overcome so much to, as he says, live a “life without limits.”
What limits seem insurmountable to you? What is causing you to want to quit? From what Nick shared with me in our interview together, he would encourage you to look at John 9:3 and realize that whatever you are facing can bring glory to God.
John 9:3 states, “‘It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,’ Jesus answered. ‘This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.’” This is what God has done in Nick’s life. He has displayed his power through Nick, and God can display his power through your life as well.
“It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.”
