Witnessing

witnessing - How do I witness to others when I don’t have a very exciting testimony?

Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.

Psalm 107:2

[Jesus] told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”

Mark 16:15

How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!

Romans 10:15

God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord.

2 Timothy 1:7-8

Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.

Daniel 12:3

TO WITNESS SIMPLY MEANS to tell others about something we have experienced. Our stories of how we met and grew to love Jesus are the greatest stories we could ever tell. And the best way Satan can keep others from hearing about Jesus is by convincing believers their stories aren’t worth telling. Take time to think about the wonderful things God has done in your life. Did he rescue you from something? Give you an incredible gift? Put someone in your life at just the right time? Allow you to feel his loving presence? Ask God to help you learn how to better articulate your own story, and grow in courage to tell it.
