Trustworthiness

1 Chronicles 29:17

Proverbs 11:13

Proverbs 25:13
Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.
Psalm 86:11
PEOPLE WHO CONSISTENTLY tell the truth are trustworthy and can be counted on to do what they promise. Do you long to be known as trustworthy? If so, there is one perfect role model you can follow—the one who created truth and set the principles of moral law in motion. Truth is not just a character trait of God; it is the essence of who he is. Therefore, God cannot lie or go back on a promise he’s made. As his followers, we need to echo his example. When we are women of our word, those around us will notice our integrity and be drawn to the Lord. If you struggle in this area, ask God to transform your heart and teach you how to become trustworthy like him in every way.
