MARRIAGE was God’s idea from the beginning. He knew it wasn’t good for men and women to be alone, so he designed marriage to bring us joy, intimacy, and companionship. For that reason God has given us specific instructions for relationships. A wife who pleases the Lord is filled with love, honors her husband by staying faithful, responds with grace, and does her best to exemplify Jesus to her spouse. If you are married, try to understand your husband’s differences and celebrate them. No marriage is perfect because when two imperfect people come together, times of conflict and disappointment are bound to happen. Marriage will experience hardships, some passing and some lasting. Whether your marriage feels fulfilling or lonely, come to God for wisdom and encouragement. Allow his Word to convict and encourage you to be a wife who loves and honors her husband.
