Impossibilities
impossibilities - How can I believe that God can do what sometimes seems impossible?
This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: All this may seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God’s people. But is it impossible for me?
Zechariah 8:6
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
Mark 9:23
“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”
Matthew 17:20
THE BIBLE is filled with seemingly impossible stories: A flood covers the earth. A sea is divided so people can walk through on dry land. A man survives three days in the belly of a fish. A virgin gives birth to a baby boy. To the person who does not believe in God or his Word, these stories defy logic. But those who believe in the Creator of all things also believe that he can alter what he has created. In order for you to recognize and experience the impossible, you need faith. Faith helps you to understand that what you see is not all there is. Learn to recognize and appreciate the “impossible” things God does for you and around you each day: unexpected forgiveness, healing for the heart, the intricate systems of the human body, or the birth of a baby. The more you see the “impossible” acts of God with eyes of faith, the stronger your faith in God will become.
