hope in God - What does it mean to be a woman who hopes in God?

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

WE ALL HAVE a universal expectation for good in our lives, even in the midst of adversity. The need to believe that things will get better is what the concept of hope is all about. When we long for life to get better, where do we place our hope? In our own abilities, good fortune, or luck? Or does our hope come from trusting God? Only when we trust God with our future can hope begin to grow. Hope in God gives us confident joy in the face of uncertainty because it anchors our souls and our future in him. Begin by being honest with God about where you place your hope. Meditate on the wonderful promises in his Word and allow these truths to grow your hope in him alone.
