Growth
growth - How can I know if I am growing spiritually?
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples.
John 15:7-8
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
2 Timothy 3:16
I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Philippians 1:6
HOW DO we know if we are growing spiritually? It is simple: Are we bearing fruit? Becoming less irritable and discouraged and more joyful, peaceful, and kind? Sometimes our spiritual growth feels like two steps forward and one step back. But remember—that means we’re still growing. With this in mind, don’t be discouraged when you feel you’re at a spiritual standstill or aren’t growing fast enough. God promises to continue his good work in you. Your job is to continually pursue relationship with him. The growth you experience in this life is forming who you will be for all eternity. Invest your time in the only thing that will last forever—your relationship with your Savior.
