Effectiveness
effectiveness - I feel like I’m not doing enough for God where I am. Should I move on?
You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God.
Romans 7:4
We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Romans 8:28
Never stop praying.
1 Thessalonians 5:17
If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.
Luke 16:10
GOD WASTES NOTHING but instead uses everything to further his good purposes. He has a reason for placing us in our homes, neighborhoods, jobs, and communities. If we are waiting for God to use us in the future, we may be missing out on chances to be used by him now. We need to watch for opportunities to serve effectively until he leads us to move on somewhere else. If your current role doesn’t feel significant, remember that God might be using this time to prepare you for later service. When you faithfully serve God in small ways, being as effective as you can, you show him that you can be trusted with greater responsibilities. Make the most of where God has put you right now.
