Genesis 3:8

IT IS HUMAN NATURE to hide when we have done something wrong. After Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden, they hid in the bushes and covered themselves with leaves. Their guilt and shame placed a relational barrier between them and God. If sin separates us from God, confession is the bridge that reconnects us. It allows us to come back to God so we can receive his mercy and forgiveness. Confession is essential because it reminds us of our need for Jesus and the Cross. Bring the dark places in your heart into God’s light, and he will replace your guilt with the joy of unconditional love and acceptance.
