THE BIBLE is one continual story of God communicating with his people. While we might prefer to hear an audible voice from God, he more often communicates with us in other ways. He might speak through his Word, his people, or his creation, or in the quietness of our own hearts. If we are too busy rushing through life at a frantic pace, we will miss hearing God. How can you slow down in order to better listen to God today? Set aside some time to sit quietly in his presence, asking if he has anything to say to you.
