Care
care - Why would God care about me? Sometimes I feel as if nobody cares.
You have been with me from birth; from my mother’s womb you have cared for me. No wonder I am always praising you!
Psalm 71:6
I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.
Psalm 31:7
If God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you.
Matthew 6:30
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
1 Peter 5:7
GOD’S CARE for us is deeply personal. His love for us began before we were born, continues throughout our lives, and extends throughout eternity. He created us to have a relationship with him, and he gives us the opportunity to live with him forever. In addition, God’s care for us is unique. Only he knows how to love us in ways that will make us feel watched over and supported. In fact, he urges us to bring our needs and worries to him because he cares so much about what happens to us. It is natural to feel lonely when others desert or abandon you, but when you can fully comprehend God’s deeply personal care for you, his love breaks through your feelings of loneliness and tends to your deepest needs and worries.
