affirmation - How do I know that God truly values my life? How does he affirm me?

God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Genesis 1:27

Long ago the LORD said to Israel: “I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.”

Jeremiah 31:3

This is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

John 3:16-17

GOD CHOSE to create us in his image simply because he longs to have a relationship with us. Even when we are unaware of it, God loves us, pursues us, and is in the process of transforming us into the people we were created to be. As you read his Word, think about what he has done recently to show you how much you matter to him. Did he save you from something? Speak truth into your life? Give you a gift you didn’t deserve? God is affirming you and cheering you on throughout each moment of your life. Allow your soul to find peace as you seek affirmation from him alone.
