How can I be a true friend?

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for being a faithful friend. You are loyal, always available to help me in times of distress or personal struggle. Like many people, I’m often a fair-weather friend. What can I do to become more loyal? I want to be a genuine friend like you—one that stands with others in times of adversity. Show me who needs me to be a friend today.
