A prayer of Dependence
My strength comes from depending on God
Almighty God,
Though I’ve tried depending on myself and on other people and things, I now realize that nothing makes me stronger than total reliance on you. Your Spirit is always with me, helping and guiding. When I humble myself and depend on you, you strengthen my character. When I am weak, you provide the strength I need. May I always remember that you are my foundation, my rock, and the strength of my heart.
I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. Psalm 16:8
