A prayer of Compassion

When I want to reflect Christ’s compassion in ways that touch others

Precious Jesus,

There are times when I’m not moved by the incredible pain around me, either because I am too self-focused or because my heart is unresponsive to you. Please don’t let my heart become hardened. Fill me with your compassion and love for those who are hurting or in need.

The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. Psalm 145:9
