A prayer for Peace

When I’m looking for peace in a world full of conflict

Dear Jesus,

So many things rob me of peace—conflict, uncertainty, busyness, worry, fear. How can I have peace amid so much turmoil? Lord, I want to have the quiet, unshakable peace that comes from placing my trust fully in you, the same peace that allowed you to go to the cross on my behalf. Help me to rest in the knowledge that my treasure is truly in heaven.

[Jesus said] “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
