A prayer for Energy

When I’m burdened by my past

Dear Jesus,

I know I am supposed to let go of the past and move on, but sometimes I realize I’m still carrying burdens from long ago. When this happens, I feel heavyhearted and drained. The more I drag forward from yesterday, the heavier the load I will carry today and the less energy I will have for tomorrow. Please free me from the past so I can channel my energy into making today all you want it to be.
