A prayer about Quitting

When I feel like quitting

Dear God,

I think of quitting as a bad word, but I know there are times when I should quit—such as when I am doing something wrong, or if I am hurting someone else. However, may I never quit a task that you have called me to do, no matter how hard it seems. Give me the strength to persevere when the going gets tough. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on you as I move forward boldly in faith.

Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9
