A prayer about Priorities

When life feels too busy to make time for God

Dear God,

My priorities are often in the wrong order. Some days my life seems to skip from one urgent interruption to another. I am so easily distracted and often confuse what is urgent with what’s important. But when I put you first, Lord, you give me the proper perspective and help me put everything else in its rightful place. Lord, show me where my focus should be today.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33
